TECHNART 2025

International Conference on Analytical Techniques for Heritage Studies and Conservation

TECHNART is a biennial international conference dedicated to analytical techniques applied to heritage science, including art, archaeology, and cultural heritage conservation. Since its first edition in 2007 in Lisbon, it has been hosted in several European cities such as Athens, Berlin, Amsterdam, Catania, Bilbao, Bruges, Lisbon, and, most recently, Perugia in 2025.

The 2025 edition brought together around 400 participants from all over the world, offering a unique opportunity to share knowledge and foster collaboration. The four-day programme included plenary and keynote lectures, about 130 oral presentations divided into parallel sessions, and two poster sessions featuring approximately 250 posters. Topics covered a wide range of innovative scientific approaches for the study of heritage materials, the use of digital technologies, and the development of conservation strategies.

The poster sessions took place on Tuesday, September 6, and Thursday, September 8, with presenters available for questions and discussions during the dedicated sessions.
